Data gathering
I got my consent forms back and I have now started data gathering. It wasn’t exactly what I had expected. I think the participants knew I was there In observations so put on their best faces. However this quickly disappeared once they got into it. Some things did shock me that I hadn’t really noticed before, however this allowed me to collect more raw qualitative data. I also got some opinions from asking questions to someone else within my employment who isn’t in my practice but has been surrounded by it and who’s opinion on certain impacts on young dancers I think is important. I’m just unsure how to present her within my data.
